To issue an accommodation certificate, we need information about the accommodated person (name, date of birth, passport number, nationality). In case of an employee card, the requirements are extended to include additional documents.
An accommodation certificate is a unilateral document from the accommodation provider confirming that they will provide accommodation to a foreigner. A lease agreement is a bilateral rental contract. For the purposes of the foreign police, both are often required – a lease agreement plus a certificate from the owner.
An accommodation certificate is issued for a specific period corresponding to the length of the planned stay. For long-term stays and employee cards, a certificate is usually required for at least the duration of the residence permit validity.
It depends on the purpose of use. For standard submission to the foreign police, official certification is usually not required. For some types of visas or use abroad, an apostille may be required. We will advise you on what exactly you need.
